Local Leaders: How to Make Change in Your Community

April 22, 2020

About the event

Join the National Democratic Training Committee on April 22nd for a free virtual live training on “How to Make Change in Your Community” with our expert trainer. Our environment is currently going through a really big change with the COVID-19 pandemic. Your work as a local leader does not stop, but simply requires some changes with different tactics. In this VLT, you will be learning the tools and strategies accessible to grow your community.

During this training, you will learn about the importance of power mapping when building your network and recruiting members to your community.

This training is part of a series to help local leaders learn different skills and navigate challenges your organization may face during COVID-19 and beyond.

A recommended (but not required) course for this training is “Building Your Network: Donors, Volunteers, & Validators.” A helpful blog post to read for this training is “Using the Power of Digital to Grow Your Local Party.”

Here is the Zoom link for this training.
