Accessibility
National Democratic Training Committee (“NDTC”) is committed to ensuring access to our training and resources for the widest possible audience, regardless of technology, ability, or personal circumstance. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant standards to ensure accessibility.
Compliance
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Traindemocrats.org is conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Traindemocrats.org supports modern mobile and desktop web browsers as old as IE11. Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we have also applied some Level AAA Success Criteria: Providing transcript documents for all pre-recorded video in our online academy courseware. Additionally we are working on applying this standard to all video content in 2021.
