Honorary Co-Chair Conversations: A Special Q&A with Reps. Lauren Underwood and Katie Porter
September 14, 2021
About the event
Running for Congress as the youngest African American ever takes boldness. Running for Congress as a single mom in a swing district takes courage.
Join us for a special Q&A session with Congresswoman Lauren Underwood and Congresswoman Katie Porter. Both will join NDTC’s Founder and CEO Kelly Dietrich for a meaningful conversation around running for office and adapting your campaign to overcome difficult challenges.
- What it’s like to run for a Congressional office and the lessons you can take away no matter how big or small your race
- How to use your unique story as an opportunity to connect with voters
- Why reaching voters where they are is so important and the strategies to win despite some of the trail’s toughest obstacles
