How Relational Organizing Can Help Your Campaign
June 23, 2021
About the event
Join the National Democratic Training Committee on Wednesday, June 23rd from 8-9:30 pm ET for a free virtual live training on “How Relational Organizing Can Help Your Campaign.” Whether you’re running for office, working on a campaign, or building your local party’s or organization’s infrastructure, you need to connect with your voters. We’re here to help! How can you do this when you can’t meet in person?
You will learn the following in this training:
- Understand the impact of relational organizing
- Recognize key components to build a program
- Evaluate a value based conversation flow.
A recommended (but not required) course for this training is “Maximizing Your Volunteer Capacity.”
In case you haven’t heard, we’re recruiting and investing in the next generation of Field Directors — there are six days left to apply to be part of the inaugural class of our Democratic Strategy Institute’s (DSI) Field Director Training Cohort. This an intensive, 8-week program designed to train future Field Directors and help them make the jump into campaign leadership. And like all of our trainings, it’s free.
If you have at least two cycles experience in the field and you are anxious to get back out there at a leadership level and use your organizing skills to make communities better, this program might be right for you.
Much like our Staff Academy program, when inviting applicants to join the program, we’ll prioritize leaders who are women, people of color, and transgender and non-binary people.
To find out more and apply head on over to https://traindemocrats.org/dsi/ and make sure you apply before applications close on June 27th.
