May 11, 2021
About the event
Join the National Democratic Training Committee on Tuesday, May 11th, from 1pm-2pm ET for a free virtual live training on “How to Communicate Your Message Through Virtual Live Events”. Whether you’re running for office, working on a campaign, or building your local party’s or organization’s infrastructure, you need to connect with your supporters. We’re here to help! How can you do this when you can’t meet in person?
You will learn the following from the training:
- Recognize best practices for virtual events
- Evaluate how to build and engage with an audience online during COVID-19
An email with directions and login information will be sent out by prior to the virtual live training.
A recommended (not required) course to take in our Online Academy is Using Social Media Platforms.

We will be using Zoom for this webinar, and please test out using Zoom prior to this meeting. We encourage downloading the app version (instead of viewing directly in your web browser) so that you can fully participate in any breakout groups.
Your Zoom link is visible once registered for this event on our website, and the Zoom link will be emailed as a reminder to you 30 minutes prior to the start of the training. Zoom will ask you to verify that you’re an authorized user. This is a security measure we’ve added – all you need to do is sign in to a free Zoom account (this is different from your traindemocrats.org account). For more information on how to set up your Zoom account, please click here.
NDTC will record this event: by attending, you give NDTC permission to take photographs and record videos including me at this event, and to use them for its internal and external purposes.
