NDTC Expert Q&A: Storytelling that Wins
April 20, 2023
About the event
All month long, virtual live trainings at NDTC are focused on Messaging That Matters.
Now that you’ve laid the foundation through planning for your campaign, it’s time to build a cohesive story, stump speech, and message that persuades voters into action and wins their trust by Election Day.
What if we told you we’re bringing together an interactive panel of experts who can tell you themselves how to formulate a strong, coherent message?
NDTC Expert Q&A: Storytelling that Wins is your opportunity to learn from messaging and communications veterans about what works, what doesn’t, and what you can learn from your audience.
Whether it’s a digital call to action via email or a stump speech at a fundraising event, this panel discussion will cover the ins and outs of powerful storytelling.
Moderated by NDTC Founder Kelly Dietrich, this program will feature a discussion between our panelists, Kate Wolfe, and Rosetta Okohson-Reb, followed by dedicated audience question and answer time. (Yes, that means you can bring your own questions from your experiences!)
Ahead of this program, we invite you to take a look at the questions the panelists will be asked. This document also contains speaker bios, suggested courses, and other related resources.
A recommended, but not required course to complete prior to this event is Political Campaign Messaging Basics.

Zoom will ask you to verify that you’re an authorized user. This is a security measure we’ve added – all you need to do is sign in to a free Zoom account (this is different from your traindemocrats.org account). NDTC will record this event: by attending, you give NDTC permission to take photographs and record videos including me at this event, and to use them for its internal and external purposes.
