About the event
If you are considering running for office or are already heading full force into the 2022 election cycle, our So You Want to Run for Office panel gives you the opportunity to tap into the minds of a diverse group of elected officials and party leaders to help you learn more about running for office. They’ll share their insight, on-the-ground experiences, and answer your burning questions in this interactive session.

- The myths and facts around what it’s really like to run for office.
- What they wish they knew then —the tips elected officials wish they had known when they launched their first campaigns.
- How to best prepare yourself (and those around you) for the journey ahead.
Come prepared with your questions for this interactive presentation and leave with the tools you need to run for office.
While this event is designed for candidates, it’s a great one for your friends and family to join as well, so they can hear firsthand what campaign life is like
