Front-End Web Development Intern

The National Democratic Training Committee is a not-for-profit political start-up with with a mission to help real people change the world by teaching them how to run for office and impact their communities for good. We offer free, interactive online and in-person training for Democratic candidates and campaign staff.
The National Democratic Training Committee is looking for entry-level front-end developers to help us innovate to create critical training and education for Democratic candidates at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree (can be in-progress) or equivalent certification(s) in computer science or front-end development or back-end development/engineering.
- Knowledge of the development life cycle and software engineering best practices
- Knowledge of version control, such as Git
- Experience with WordPress is a plus

This full-time position reports to the Principal Technical Architect and is located in downtown Chicago.

Salary is $15.00 per hour. Contracts are 3-months with a possible extension to 6-months, depending on budget and performance.
