Amani Zara
Associate Director of Marketing
Amani joined the NDTC team in June of 2021 as their Associate Marketing Director. Working closely with the marketing director, Amani manages the tactical implementation of NDTC’s strategic marketing plan. After graduating from UIC, Amani entered politics and public service and has since held various communications, marketing, and organizing positions in nonprofit, campaign, and progressive political technology spaces. Born - and happy residing - in Chicago, Amani is a mom to her cat Smokey first, and an aspiring hobbyist second.
