Meet Our Trainers

Alexa Jakusovszky is currently pursuing an MBA at Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management in Portland. They grew up in the mountains of Colorado but moved to Oregon to study International Affairs and Gender Studies at Lewis & Clark College. Prior to business school, Alexa spent time working in development and communications at a nonprofit where they discovered their passion for transportation policy. Alexa later transitioned to a policy role at the state legislature where they could make a larger impact in this arena. They currently serve as the Legislative Director for Oregon State Representative Karin Power. In this role, they focus on energy policy and LGBTQ+ advocacy. They hope to use their MBA to enhance collaboration between Oregon's private and public sector. In their free time, Alexa enjoys long distance bike riding and exploring new Portland restaurants.
