Colmon Elridge III

Colmon Elridge has been a leader in Kentucky and national politics and governing for over a decade. Coming from humble beginnings, Colmon broke the cycle of poverty through hard work, education, and opportunities afforded to him through the Democratic Party.

Colmon, 37, has served as the Outreach Director for the Kentucky Democratic Party, served two terms as the Executive Vice President of the Young Democrats of America, and served for eight years as the Executive Assistant and Senior Advisor the Kentucky’s 61st Governor. He has just been elected as the first African American to serve as the Chair of the Kentucky Democratic Party.

Colmon, his wife Victoria, and their three sons Colmon, Carter, and Camden, live in Georgetown, KY.
