Meet Our Team

Damon Drew joins NDTC as the Community Engagement Manager. Damon is focused on enhancing learner engagement, fostering community, hosting impactful virtual programs, and using data-driven insights to optimize program effectiveness. He graduated in 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Toledo and earned a Masters degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Louisville in 2017. Damon entered campaigns as a Field Organizer in 2020 after working as a Mental Health Counselor in schools, community agencies, hospitals, and substance use treatment facilities. He is passionate about the ways in which electing progressive champions has downstream policy effects on people’s overall wellbeing and mental health. Damon previously worked as a Campaign Manager on local, state, and federal campaigns in Ohio, Virginia, and New York. He is a 2021 NDTC Staff Academy alum and enjoys watching sports, traveling, and playing with his two dogs, Coco and Louis, in his free time.
