Jamarr Brown

Jamarr Brown serves as the Executive Director of the Color of Change PAC. Jamarr has 15 years of professional experience working as a campaign strategist, leadership trainer, and nonprofit leader. Prior to this role, Jamarr served as Executive Director of the Texas Democratic Party, where he served as the tactical executive in leading voter contact, fundraising, candidate recruitment, voter protection, and direct mail programs. Additionally, Jamarr served as the Director of Civic Engagement Programs at re:power, stewarding partnerships with progressive civic engagement and labor groups and overseeing a portfolio of programs to train and support organizers, campaign managers and staff, and candidates. Jamarr has also served as the National Training Director for Tom Steyer’s presidential campaign, the Organizing & Training Director for Planned Parenthood Texas Votes (PPTV), and has worked at the local, state, and national levels with a range of progressive organizations — training key groups and campaigns across the country and garnering national coverage — and successfully worked with ColorOfChange to remove the Confederate Flag from South Carolina’s State House grounds. Jamarr currently serves as the Board Chair for Provide, Inc., a nonprofit organization that works with medical and social work professionals to provide stigma-free referrals for those dealing with unintended pregnancy and seeking abortion care.
