Meet Our Trainers

Jessica is an experienced social impact professional with a history of working at the intersection of media, politics, & tech. She founded JL Reeves Strategies which consults for national & state-based organizations, including groups like the Texas Future Project & the Blue Leadership Collaborative. Nationally, she has led work for groups like Rock the Vote, Supermajority, & Voto Latino(VL).

Previously, Jessica was COO at VL, a pioneering civic media org shaking up the political process to bring young voices into the political process. There she was responsible for developing key partnerships & shepherding high-impact digital tools & campaigns with partners like Lyft & Google, as well as local & national organizations. Prior to joining Voto Latino, Jessica worked in advertising where she helped launch award-winning digital & social media marketing campaigns for major brands. Originally from El Paso, TX now lives in Austin with her husband, baby girl, & two Boston Terriers.
