Meet Our Trainers

Joanne Antoine is a Haitian American organizer and progressive strategist based out of the Washington DC Metro Area. She currently serves as Manager of State Outreach & Engagement for a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working for open, honest, and accountable government in Maryland and also serves as the Liaison to Caribbean Communities for Montgomery County Government, where she works to ensure the community voice is heard in county government. Ms. Antoine is the Director of Campaigns for Young Democrats of Maryland and works with At The Forefront to help build winning campaigns for women candidates in the Caribbean region and Democratic women candidates of Caribbean descent here in the US. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts in English and in her spare time, loves to try new recipes and watch reality TV.
