Joe Kabourek
Joe has been working professionally for Democratic campaigns and causes for 15 years. Starting as a Field Organizer in 2006, he is a seasoned manager providing strategic, operational, and financial leadership in complex, fast-paced and diverse political environments.
Recent career highlights include serving as Executive Director of the Democratic Party of New Mexico for 4 years. During his tenure, Joe ran the state’s largest coordinated campaign that resulted in Democrats elected to every statewide and federal office. In 2020, Joe served as Political Director and Director of Ballot Access for Colorado Senator Michael Bennet. Most recently, Joe served as Campaign Manager for Colorado Families First, a successful ballot initiative that made Colorado the first state to pass a Paid Family and Medical Leave program at the ballot box.
Joe lives in Wheat Ridge, CO with his wife. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Villanova University.
