Meet Our Trainers

Kate is a campaign strategist and public policy professional who is passionate about electing good people to make innovative policy solutions a reality. Kate currently serves as the Executive Director of both Maine Votes and Maine Voices Network. Prior to that, she worked as the Outreach Director for Sara Gideon’s US Senate campaign.

Kate returned to Maine, her home state, in 2017 to work on building the Maine Democratic Party’s long-term field and digital organizing infrastructure. Before that, Kate worked on Hillary Clinton’s Florida organizing team, as well as working for the campaign during the Iowa, Colorado, and Washington caucuses. She got her start in campaigns while studying at Georgetown University and interning for President Obama’s re-election campaign. Kate is also an alumna of Emerge Maine. Outside of work, Kate is an avid reader and a lifelong ice hockey player.
