Meet Our Team

Mandy Grathwohl joined NDTC as an intern for the Curriculum Team in January 2020 and became an Associate Instructional Designer in September of that year. As part of the Curriculum Team, she assists in creating courses for NDTC’s online academy, as well as slide decks for the organization’s Virtual Live Trainings. A few years after graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a Fiction Writing degree, she entered the political world to make a positive impact on both her community and the country. A barista, poet, and hotel concierge in a past life, Mandy now juggles her work at NDTC with her passion for community organizing in Chicago (and also knitting and fiber arts.) 90% of the time she can be found cozy at home with her dog, four cats, numerous plants, and partner.
