Salim Shariff is a political strategist with over 12 years of experience who has helped manage multi-million dollar ad buys, support coalitions of hundreds of organizations with digital organizing support, and raised millions of dollars online for progressive candidates and causes. He is the founder of Salim Shariff Strategies, a boutique digital communications firm focused on driving long term capacity growth for progressive organizations and causes.

He most recently led Contest Every Race, a candidate recruitment organization that has recruited over 225,000 people to consider a run for office in partnership with 40+ Democratic state parties.

Salim was the 2016 Digital Director for Hillary Clinton in Ohio. Salim got his start in politics on the Obama 2012 campaign, where he served as a digital organizer in Southern California and Chicago in 2011. In 2012, he served as the deputy digital director in Ohio.
