This resource is a part of NDTC’s Phone Banking Toolkit, which has sample documents that can be edited and adapted to a campaign. Add a shortcut to this toolkit to your Google Drive, or download all of these documents from the toolkit folder itself.
Volunteers will likely face questions they don’t have the answers to. While they should be honest when they’re unsure about something, you can help them with the basics by providing some key talking points for them to review before starting their calls and to reference during. Use this template to begin these talking points. Be sure to include some personal details on the candidate, a few key issues, and notes about the desired office — especially if many people in the community don’t fully understand what that office is responsible for.
