NDTC is proud to have trainers throughout the country who teach at our incredible Blue Bench Trainings.
Each month, we spotlight one of our trainers to learn more about their backgrounds and their favorite part of being a trainer at NDTC!
This month, we are featuring Jeff Greene who specializes in political fundraising and helps our trainees learn the ins and outs of financing campaigns!
Tell us about yourself! What has your professional life looked like? How did you get your start in politics?
I have been active in politics since my uncle ran for mayor when I was a boy. Holding signs along the road was my first experience. From there, I moved to supporting candidates and eventually working with candidates to get elected. I moved to add lobbying to my resume two years ago and got my first bill signed into law by the governor.
What is your current full-time position?
I currently run Jeff Greene & Associates, a boutique lobbying firm focusing on alternative energy and cannabis.
What inspired or compelled you to start training with NDTC? What is your favorite part about the trainings?
I met Kelly (the founder of NDTC) at a Leadership Blue event in Fort Lauderdale and listened to his vision. I was compelled after that meeting to do my due diligence on the organization and try to see how I could participate. My favorite part of the trainings was meeting other trainers and being part of the NDTC vision.
How do you practice self-care?
I am definitely a work to live vs. live to work countercyclist. I love what I do so I don’t consider it work, but I do my best to play tennis or make sure I have a date night with my wife weekly. Also, I’m a fan of manicures and pedicures.
What’s a piece of advice you’d like to give to other candidates or potential candidates?
Don’t ever stop learning. There is rarely a day that goes by that I learn something, even if it is just another perspective on a topic I was firm on.

Favorite tv show?
Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook?
What are you currently reading?

If you weren’t working in politics, what would you be doing?
I would be working for a non-profit or helping startups get off the ground.
Biggest pet peeve?
Someone using their iPhone flashlight at dinner to see their menu with no consideration for those around them.
What is the theme song for your life?
No one gets out alive
