Women's History Month AMA: A Woman's Place is Everywhere

Description

In honor of Women’s History Month, NDTC will host a virtual Ask Me Anything with guests, many of them Gen Z women, leading the fight for democracy and human rights. Our panelists will answer questions in real-time and share “behind the curtain” advice on what it takes to engage young people and message specific issues so they resonate with voters – especially during the current, highly challenging political moment and fractured media landscape.

Who should attend:

  • Anyone who is interested in understanding the state of play, and where the opportunities are for equal rights in this next administration.

  • Anyone who identifies as female and wants to understand what role they can play in supporting and advancing equal rights during this next administration

  • Anyone who who wants to encourage women to run for office, or be an ally

What will you discover?

  • How to confidently belong in any room

  • The challenges and opportunities women face in politics, and how to help navigate them

  • The networks you may not have known about but should

  • The real life strategies, examples, and encouragement you won’t find written down anywhere else

  • What everyone can learn from women in the political space across the generations

105 years since the 19th Amendment became a reality, women are still far short of the representation they deserve in the halls of power. Find out what it takes to build and solidify stronger representation. Whether it is child care, sexual and reproductive health, privacy, or plain common sense, a woman’s place is everywhere and we are ALL better off for it.
