Since text banking can be a volunteer’s first step into the campaign (it’s the easiest thing to do,) and because text banking is more isolating than phone banking and canvassing, sometimes texting volunteers need a nudge to continue their involvement with the campaign. This handout is an outline of ways to encourage volunteers to keep coming back, starting with an invite for them to sign up for another shift.
