As a member of the Communications team, you will play a large role in ensuring that your candidate is ready to face a moderator and voters. One of the avenues Communications teams often use to get the candidate’s message in front of voters is through candidate forums: debate or town hall-style events where candidates come before the public and defend their records or advance their proposals. This course will provide you with a guide for how to properly research, brief, and prepare your candidate for a forum.
